Please Come Back, Mister: Episode 2 Recap

Woo boy, I’m behind. But we’re getting to the good stuff now, and I’m only 70% talking about all of the shirtless Rain scenes. The first episode of Please Come Back, Mister teased us with a quick introduction to the main cast, and we’re about to dig a little deeper into their characters. Without further ado, I give you…

Please Come Back, Mister: Episode 1 Recap

[Please help me welcome my friend spicytuna, who has graciously jumped in to cover Please Come Back Mister. A self-professed lover of Rain, and also an admirer of Kim Soo Ro, spicytuna will give her commentary in the coming weeks on this hilarious and entertaining drama.]

Let me start off by stating just how excited I am for this drama.

Seriously. Kim Soo Ro, who I fell for in A Gentleman’s Dignity (ugh such a doofy manly man), and Rain, the love of my life? The k-pop star I’ve literally been in love with since I was 12? The reason I paid my own money to see Ninja Assassin three times in the theater??

And let’s not even get started on Honey Lee, casually one of the most beautiful women in the world and with the sexiest voice to boot.

Okay, let’s get started!

Come Back Mister: First Impressions

Oh this is really fun. The first two episodes hit you like a rock, but it helps set so many things up for the rest of the series. And then episode 3 pushes you right into the evolving story for the rest of the series. It’s so fun to see Rain and Oh Yeon Seo channel Kim In Kwon and Kim Soo Ro right off the bat and show off their comedic chops.

I’m all out of sorts schedule wise, so I’m sorry for being a little late with this! Without further ado… Goodbye Siwon and Changmin! You’re off to the army after your stints in drama-land (She Was Pretty and The Scholar Who Walks at Night), and we’ll see you in a year! (Okay, more than a year, but we’ll be okay!) [link]

Lee Jia will be making her comeback! Soon. Maybe.

She’s considering a role in the upcoming MBC drama Return of the Queen (tentative title), which will be written by Kim Do Woo (My Lovely Sam Soon) and directed by Go Dong Sun (Queen of Housewives). According to KEYEAST, nothing has been set in stone yet, especially since her scandal only headlined, like, the first half of summer, and, like, totally rocked South Korea’s world.

She’s gotta be careful yunno? Her next comeback role can’t be about a woman who finds herself in the midst of a divorce and must learn to reinvent herself while dating a costar coworker.

Well if we can’t get them in a drama together, a photo shoot works too! Jang Geun Suk and Park Shin Hye pose pretty for Codes Combine’s Haiker 2011 Fall-Winter Line. Jang has been modeling for them since last year, but Park has recently teamed up with him.

OK – I need photos of them together stat!

Jang Geun Suk has nabbed another role?! The guy is busy enough as it is! Aside from filming “You’re My Pet” and recently finishing up an Asia Tour, he’s now said to be starring in Yoon Seok Ho‘s upcoming drama “Love in the Rain.” Yoon is known for his Season dramas – Winter Sonata, Autumn in My Heart, Spring Waltz, and Summer Scent.

I was under the impression that Yoon was going to be producing another drama – “Our Happy Youthful Days” with T.O.P., which would air after Spy Myung Wol. Then again, “Love in the Rain” (which is the tentative title) doesn’t have a broadcast date yet, but is said to start shooting in September.

Me, confused? Yes. Excited? No. Jang Geun Suk + Melodrama is one thing I do not want to see. Even if he can pull it off, I don’t want to see my Sukkie crying or moping over some girl with some illness.

It’s been reported that Rain is in talks to do a Hollywood project after he completes his military service. He tweeted a photo of himself and said he was proposed with an upcoming film alongside Richard Gere. Now I don’t know how true this will be – or if it will even ever happen – but I’m really skeptical about how that movie will turn out.

Yup – I don’t think it’ll be too good. But that’s my gut speaking.

Nevertheless, I’m super pissed off today. Why? Because I TOTALLY missed the first day of registration for Pottermore!!! Last night I already could not access the site due to a wave of people logging in and crashing the servers. What the hell… and now today, day 1 of registration is closed. Must I go by Greenwich mean time to log on? I think I’ll be refreshing every five minutes for it.

Heh. I think I know understand that feeling when people constantly say they’re refreshing a page like mad for some drama update.

Anyways… moving on…
