Queen of Reversals: A Mini Review

I give up. It’s kind of sad, but I really refuse to continue any further with this series. I love Park Shi Hoo, I REALLY DO. (He’s mine.) But at this rate I cannot continue with the series when I have the little friendly button called “fast forward” at easy access and something called “Time” looming behind my back.

Hence, a mini review of my overall impressions.

News Bits: 3/7/11 Edition

I randomly tuned in to Queen of Reversals episode 23, and JUST SO HAPPENED to start at exactly the scene between Yong Shik and his secretary. And the secretary calling Yong Shik out on his attraction to Tae Hee. And then Yong Shik “slipping” information that Yoo Kyung was going on a blind date. Based on the secretary’s reaction (running out the door), he must have the hots for her!

More to come…but until then! News bits!

News Bits: 2/17/11 Edition

Ahhhh! Too many dramas to catch up on!! And with Queen of Reversals on DramaFever, I really shouldn’t have an excuse to put it off any longer!! I cannot promise I will do any more recaps, but I promise a review. Honestly, the things that happen piss me off SO MUCH. It’s not bad writing (quite the contrary) or the bad acting (again, quite the contrary). It’s just, it’s so maddening but good and makes me feel too exhausted to do a rewatch so I can recap it.

Thank God for the long weekend.  And I sure as hell love my “dark horse” drama. On to the news bits!

Kim Sun Ah and Kim Joo Hyuk will star in the upcoming film “Fighting Spirit” (working title). She will play the wife of a pitcher named Yoon Doo Hoon, and supports her husband and two children. The film will start production in February and premiere next year.

Queen of Reversals: Episode 9

Let me preface this by saying that this episode made me want to drop this series. I’m serious. I’ll explain later, but, Kang Woo and Yong Shik would then do something so random that it makes me burst out into laughter and fall in love again. I hate those two.

Look at how they walk – so similarly, like two peas in a pod.

News Bits: 1/11/11 Edition

Ack! I just finished watching Secret Garden episode 17, and GAH – TEARJERKER! OK, I realize that certain parts of it were pretty sappy, no lie, but when you put a great male actor like Hyun Bin in front of me, crying his eyes out, I can’t help but want to cry too. Not that I did, I’m just saying I wanted to.

Anyways – the scene in the hospital? BEST SCENE EVER. Why? Because it just put all the actors (save the mother) in one place at one time, acting their hearts out. And to be hit with all that at once is just overwhelming.

Queen of Reversals: Episode 7

The recaps are back! And honestly – Yeo Jin and Jun Soo should just get together. I’ve seen the spoilers (regarding Tae Hee and Yong Shik), so I’m watching with those tidbits in mind.

This episode was kinda awesome for three things: plot movement, Kim Seung Woo, and Ma Hye Ri. (I LOVED that shout out, ‘cept I wish the writer was a little more daring. At least with Dr. Champ Park Shi Hoo made a voice cameo; then again, I guess because the crew that did Prosecutor Princess did Dr. Champ, they were more willing to do more with the cameo.)
