The triangle has formed!! Don’t spoil for me what happens in episodes 3 and 4 of Romance Town; I know these photos are spoiler-y, but I can’t help myself in sharing Jung Gyu Woon, Sung Yuri, and Kim Min Joon pictures.
My interpretation? Kim Min Joon happens upon Sung Yuri and the maids, and asks if she’s sick. He takes her home to take care of her (raising ire and jealousy within Min Hyo Rin) and that’s when Jung Gyu Woon comes bounding in. He won’t be happy to see this because it’s HIS woman in ANOTHER MAN’S arms! The maids are cowering because they realize a cock fight could just break out in their room.
ACK CAN’T WAIT!
P.S. I love how the Korean newspapers call this drama ‘RoTa’ because it is kinda long to say “Romance Town.”
Oh man – I need to get my butt moving with these recaps. There is no way in hell I can do this if I’ve got Romance Town on my plate! Heh.
If you think I’m being slow, feel free to shoot me a comment that says something like, “Yo Kaedejun – get yo’ ass movin’ and gimme those recaps! Why the hell you so slow?!” Typing it in a New York accent will definitely get me scurrying.
The fight between Seo Taiji and Lee Jia rages on. I was already ready to move on to drama world – and they create their own drama in the headlines. Grr. Lee Jia had withdrawn her previous lawsuit, but apparently without notice to Seo Taiji’s side, and now he’sfiling a lawsuit of his own. Yeah, I know right? His side wants to sort out the issue now, and so they’re both dragging their asses back to court on May 23.
I guess the reasoning is also that since everything is out in the open, they might as well sort out their problems rather than sweeping it under the rug. There’s no way they can escape this scandal anymore, so they might as well battle it out. Besides, who knows? What if Lee Jia decides to raise hell again and submit another lawsuit? I can understand if that’s Seo’s reasoning, but honestly? Why so public?
Did you get a heart attack from the above photo? Or did you just squee at work/class/library/professional setting? I squee-ed, in case you were wondering.
The above caption reads, “Romance Town – let it do well!”
I hope it does. For my sanity, and for Jung Gyu Woon. I love how he hams it up for the camera too. These two guys are such good buddies on screen that I hope it transfers well behind the scenes. Romance Town – fighting!
Oh wow – I have seriously not done this for a while. And by “a while” I mean 5 days. That’s a long time…
Denali1975 beat me to it, but yes – I’m recapping Romance Town! And I have to say – can Wednesday come any sooner?! I’m so excited to be recapping this – I’m glad I listened to all of you. 😀
Let us all spazz over Jung Gyu Woon together, yeah?!
But on to the news…
Above is the official poster for Ripley, featuring Lee Da Hae, Micky Yoochun, Kim Seung Woo, and Kang Hye Jung. Sick, no? But I think it’s quite interesting and definitely shows off the darker tone this drama will take. If only everyone else would stop smiling; only Lee Da Hae seems to be selling the whole “dark, twisted melodrama” feel.
Episode 17! I love the director/writer. He and his wife/writing partner have managed to weave in so many threads intot he story earlier that there are plenty of loose threads that need tying up. This is the episode where you think the Seo Yoon Hyung case is over, and where you’d think the series would get boring. However – Kim Sung Oh is not boring.
Now this is a drama I wasn’t interested in seeing, but am slowly getting around to it. I still may not see it. Too many dramas at once ya know!? But hey – Jung Gyu Woon in fat suit?
Below are some photos from the conference. It’s less, but also because it looked pretty boring. Everyone was dressed in grays and black. Sung Yuri‘s dress is quite nice, although I’m not too sure about the huge black frilly flower on her shoulder. But Min Hyo Rin looked older for her age with the grandma-white lace on her dress.
