Kim Woo Bin – Suzy to Star in New Drama

Kim Woo Bin and Suzy are returning to drama-land! In 2016. It’s still unsure what broadcaster or the exact date when the drama will air, but the working title of the drama is Uncontrollably Fond. Odd title. I do hope they change it.

Nam Joo Hyuk Cast in ‘Brilliant Seduction’

Nam Joo Hyuk sure is keeping busy! After appearing in School 2015 and being confirmed as part of the cast for Cheese in the Trap, he’s also in final talks to join the MBC 50-episode drama Glamorous Temptation – formerly known as Their Fortress and could be translated as Brilliant Seduction. The title, just like the former one, is still a work-in-progress, though I prefer Brilliant Seduction. We’ll see which English title sticks.

Kim Hee Chan and others fill up ‘Cheese in the Trap’

Kim Hee Chan is going from one sibling to the next! This new actor first came on to the drama scene in Producers as Gong Hyo Jin‘s younger brother Tak Ye Joon (the med student who only came home to find the most awkward of situations). Now he’s going to play Hong Seol’s spoiled younger brother Hong Joon in Cheese in the Trap.

Seo Kang Joon possibly for ‘Cheese in the Trap’?

I think I now understand what happens when you’re a fan of a webtoon and you see the people being cast to fit a particular role that you’ve become attached to. And you think, “They’re not going to do well in this role! They can’t portray this character well enough!” To a certain extent I felt it with any casting news for Harry Potter movies, but I trusted the British actors cast and knew they could do justice to J.K. Rowling‘s creations.

Anyways – rumor has it (and it’s probably more concrete than a rumor) that Seo Kang Joon will be cast as the second male lead in Cheese in the Trap, Baek In Ho.

Kim Go Eun Cast in ‘Cheese in the Trap’

The anticipated drama Cheese in the Trap just got its leading lady: movie actress Kim Go Eun. She will star opposite Park Hae Jin (My Love From Another Star) in this webtoon-based drama. I’m kind of happily surprised to see this film actress cast over the rumored Suzy (a.k.a. Lee Min Ho’s girlfriend), who had declined the role after a backlash on the internet over her casting.

Lee Min Ho Chooses Another Film for Comeback

Looks like Lee Min Ho isn’t returning to the small screen anytime soon. The actor, who’s pretty much got free rein to forever do commercials and movies if he’d like, is choosing a big-budget pan-Asian film called ‘Bounty Hunters’. Directed by Shin Tae Ra (or Terra Shin), who previously did ‘My Girlfriend is an Agent’ with Kang Ji Hwan, ‘Bounty Hunters’ will take place in Korea, China, Hong Kong, Thailand, and other major Asian cities. With a blockbuster-sized budget, this film can do anything.

Lee Soo Hyuk Confirms ‘Scholar Walking at Night’

Lee Soo Hyuk‘s next role isn’t going to be too much of a stretch for him – visually. He’s confirmed to join the cast of The Scholar Walking at Night… as a vampire. Quite fitting for a man who used to be a bodyguard to a Vampire Idol.
