Sense8 is a Netflix original series by Andy and Lana Wachowski that follows eight gifted people with the ability to sense each other’s emotions and feelings, and experience moments in their lives. It premiered on Netflix a couple of weeks ago, and, with the few online teasers I saw, I only tuned in because it starred Bae Doona. I can’t help but be curious to see her acting in an English-speaking role.

Lee Byung Hun is pretty (in)famous for those who know about his crazy, somewhat salacious personal life. In the States, he’s nothing but the token bad guy in blockbuster action movies. Not that that is a bad thing, as he is getting so much recognition and doing so well in Hollywood compared to some of his contemporaries. In any case, his new film Terminator Genisys (and no, I’m not misspelling it) is hopefully going to catapult him into greater stardom because it’s putting out a 30-second trailer on Super Bowl.
Yet another film on my “watchlist,” except this time I’ve seen it. If you don’t go watch this film you are certainly missing out on a cinematic achievement that cannot be missed. Much like Alfonso Cuarón’s “Gravity,” “Interstellar” takes place in space and is a mind-blowing experience if you watch it in the big screen. No matter how you watch it – in IMAX or in regular theaters – you need to experience it. It’s time to get lost in space.
