Should I even comment about this photo? Do I have to?
I don’t even know what to say – or where to start – other than the fact that the two actors are really encapsulating their roles. But onwards to what I think!
I find it quite amusing the way Cha Seung Won is being all bad ass and cool with the chains around his pants, and his hand gesture, but I also can’t forget the fact that he is too old for this sort of thing. I mean, if it were Lee Seung Gi, I’d get it, but Cha is approximately 15 years too old for this. Then again, because he’s “too old” for this sort of thing, it makes me more eager to see him act all hip, popular, and cool.
As for Gong Hyo Jin she’s absolutely adorable in her dress, which makes her look a lot older than she really is. Her face is all you need to know that she’s younger than she seems. And I think that’s what makes this photo op (presumably for their poster) so quirky. Gong would do better dressed in the style that Cha is wearing, and vice versa, but the thing is, that’s not the way it is. I think it’d be cute to see how their personalities are different from their public image, and to see if there will be any role reversal in the drama. I don’t want to hope too much (it’s a Hong Sisters drama = fun and fluffy goodness), but hey, you never know. My Girlfriend is a Gumiho was pretty well thought out and complex enough (what does it mean to be ‘human’?)
Anyways – can’t wait to see what magical background and froofery will be added to this photo, as long as it doesn’t overshadow Cha’s pose and expression.
