Just in case you were wondering what comes after Orange Caramel (because I was), Pledis Entertainment stated that Kahi will release her solo album in late August to early September. She’s currently working on her voice lessons to makes sure she is ready. On top of that, After School is looking for a ninth member. They will be holding auditions for girls between the age of 10-26 (10?! really!? are there no child labor laws?!) from July 30th to August 26.
Lee Jun Ki and Joo Ji Hoon may be in the army for less than a year, but they’re coming back to Seoul for a special performance. Both will have lead roles in the musical “Voyage of Life,” which was co-produced by the Ministry of National Defense and Korea Musical Theater Association in commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the Korean War. It will run from August 21-29 in the National Theater of Korea.
In more army news… Lee Wan and Kim Nam Gil‘s photos in the army surfaced when the Nonsan military camp posted up photos of the actors on their official website. (You can apparently search for anyone since they have a link called ‘Search for Faces We Miss’) So say hiiii! and now byeee!!!! because these boys need to go finish their training.
Se7en released his mini album “Digital Bounce” with (of course) seven tracks. One of his songs features T.O.P. and it’s super-digitized. Don’t really like it but when T.O.P.’s voice mixes in with the chorus it’s a little better. Keyword: little. Otherwise, I’d feel like I’m listening to a nasally Se7en. (I don’t remember his voice being this nasally either. Maybe it’s really the digital-ness of it.)
“Better Together” is catchy (still digital. Ok I have to stop complaining about that because what else can I expect from an album titled “Digital Bounce?”), and “I’m Going Crazy” is a decent pop song and more like what I would expect of the Se7en I knew.
Chae Yeon is also coming back with a mini album on July 22. Can’t wait to see what she has in store for us! Summer 2010 really is the summer of comebacks (Rain, Se7en, BoA, Chae Yeon, and I’m sure I’m missing another person or two…)
